Brent’s Gap
Nelson County, Virginia
It a slow go over Brent’s Gap if you are heading south out of Nellysford along 151 toward Roseland. For several days now road crews have been removing old asphalt from the highway to eventually resurface it.
While work is underway, crews have been stopping all traffic going over the mountain and then escorting drivers through the construction site one lane at a time.
Once the old asphalt has been removed, paving crews will return to put down new blacktop.
VA 511 does not have the construction listed, so completion times are not available at this time.
Be safe if you are heading that way, and allow extra time.
