This past Saturday they held their Be Bold 5K at Bold Rock Cidery just south of Nellysford on Route 151. For early August the weather was stunning. Sunny, clear, and cool for the start.

BRL Publisher Yvette Stafford, who has run many of the Corkscrew races herself, chats it up with Dwayne Jones the co-founder of the racing series. Saturday – August 5, 2017.

Yvette has become a staple at these races running almost all of them, but not this one. The other part of BRL decided to run this one!

BRL Co-Publisher Tommy Stafford (right) stops for a pic with fellow runner Renee Everhart just before the race. This was Tommy’s first race ever. It’s one of several Renee has completed in the past couple of years.
