Dynamics continue to develop for the potential of a severe weather outbreak Saturday afternoon across Central Virginia, including Wintergreen and Nelson County. Though we won’t have the customary daytime heating due to cloud cover, vigorous winds will aid in the development of possible severe thunderstorms and isolated tornadoes during the afternoon and evening. This is not a sure bet by any means, but the potential is there and appears to be increasing as of late Saturday morning when this post was written.
