We will pair music with books & listen to the inspiration behind these books. “Listenings” for “Hotel on the Corner of Bitter & Sweet” will include some Jazz from the Pacific Northwest from Count Basie, Quincy Jones & Hampton Hawes.. Nelson Sheriff Makes Pot Bust After 151 Traffic Stop

Two 1 gallon bags of marijuana were confiscated during a traffic stop this past Sunday (2.13.11) in Nellysford, VA.

Nelson County Sheriff, David Brooks says his department arrested a Hanover County, Virginia man after he was stopped in Nellysford Sunday for speeding. Officers found two 1 gallon bags full of marijuana. “Twenty nine year old Michael Ryan Vaden was charged with Reckless driving after going 69 MPH in a 45 MPH zone. He’s also charged with possession with intent to distribute,”says Sheriff Brooks.

Michael Ryan Vaden of Hanover County, VA was released on a $5000.00 bond.
