9th Annual Blue Ridge Mountain Music Festival In The History Books – Fantastic Weekend!

At just age 11 Sierra was invited by internationally know singer Allison Krauss to join her on stage at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.

The 2014 Blue Ridge Mountain Music Festival is in the history books. Plans are already underway for the 2015 event! The tent was packed for most of the day this past Saturday as several different bands, some old and new, took to the stage to perform. Wintergreen Performing Arts puts on the event each year. Blue Ridge Life Magazine Publisher Tommy Stafford was the emcee for the event. This marked the 7th year he was there.

Local celebrity musicians Kimy & Jimbo Cary along with Pete & Ellen Vigour always end the afternoon's final hour with a variety of mountain music from their years on the road entertaining. The newest appearance at the Blue Ridge Mountain Music Festival is Sierra Hull of Nashville. He we caught her warming up back stage Saturday just before her second performance.

In addition to music on the main stage, several jam sessions were held outside under another tent throughout the entire afternoon.
