Nelson County, Virginia
Elements are coming together for a stormy afternoon across Nelson County and much of Central Virginia on Monday, especially in the afternoon hours. Sunday night the Mid-South missed the brunt of possible severe weather.
While the risk for Virginia is in the slight risk category, it is still an elevated risk, especially for late February. Generally we don’t see large severe weather outbreaks across this part of the country until May/June.
