BRL has been able to confirm that a heavy law enforcement presence is on the scene of some type of incident in Afton. It’s along Route 6 west in the 2000 block.
Earlier today they sent a message via their Facebook page post below.
VDOT also has Route 6 blocked on both ends.
Later just before noon a message was sent out via telephone as well.
We do not know what the situation is about, but believe special weapons and tactical teams are also present at the location.
