“At 9:33 p.m. on Sunday (March 19), Virginia State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Route 29 just south of Tidbit Trail.
A 2008 Toyota Highlander was traveling south on Route 29 when it ran off the right side of the road, struck a tree and caught fire.
The driver, Hyon Soo Jung, 76, of Teaneck, N.J., died at the scene. Due to the nature of the crash, it couldn’t be determined if he was wearing a seatbelt.
The crash remains under investigation.

For the third time in less than a week, another person has lost their life from a vehicle crash here in Nelson. The other two accidents are linked, here and here.
The most recent traffic death happened Sunday night at the intersection of US 29 and Tidbit Trail in the Woods Mill area of Nelson. Below is the preliminary information from VSP. Additional information will follow when available.
