Virginia State Police Trooper C.A. Sheron is investigating a single-vehicle crash in Amherst County. The crash occurred at approximately 12:12 a.m., Tuesday (April 10), on Route 29, north of Kintyre Lane.
A 2012 Chevrolet Cruze was traveling north on Route 29 when it ran off the left side of the highway and into the median where it struck a tree.
The vehicle’s driver, Raghav Rijal, 26, of Harrisonburg, Va., died at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt.
The crash remains under investigation.
