“At the time of this release, per the request of the Nelson County Public Schools administration, the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office is currently searching the Nelson County High School complex with drug sniffing dogs. This type of operation would not be possible without the interagency cooperation of surrounding jurisdictions and state agencies. The Nelson County High School is following their operational procedures to conduct the search. This operation is to ensure the continued safety of our students, faculty and staff who attend this school every day.”
