Area fire crews didn’t get Sunday off. They spent much of the afternoon battling a house fire on Gulleysville Lane. That’s just off of Adial Road outside of Nellysford, VA. “They told me the house was more or less a loss, but was very hard to get to,” NCL Photographer Marci Gates said.
The fire was so remote, fire crews had a hard time getting to the address. They had to haul water back and forth to extinguish the flames.
