As we have been telling you all afternoon, The NCHS Lady Govs have been poised to win the state volleyball championship, and they did just that Saturday afternoon in Richmond against Matthews County. The final winning scores were: 25-23, 25-20, 25-21 Matthews managed to win one game against Nelson, but that was it. Nelson mopped up after that pulling ahead to win the state championship!!
