The hot weather comes to an end today. Though we’ll still be warm, we can say good-bye to the 90’s for awhile. As a matter of fact, we will be much cooler by Friday into the weekend, by as much as 30 degrees lower from the 90°+ readings on Tuesday and Wednesday.
There is also the chance for some thunderstorms, possibly strong to severe, moving into the area by Thursday afternoon. A round of severe weather hit the mid-south to our west overnight Wednesday and will be advancing toward Nelson and Central Virginia during the afternoon hours Thursday.
