Though the weather was pretty wintry in the higher elevations of Nelson County, it was just perfect in the Rockfish Valley. People packed the house at The 3rd Annual Holiday Market held indoors at the Rockfish Valley Community Center.
The day kicked off with the monthly RVCC Pancake Breakfast, held on the first Saturday of each month. Rowen, and mom, Myla Goldman, made sure they fueled up on pancakes before hitting the market!Yes, yes, so did Junior Publisher Adam Stafford & mom, Yvette!The market also featured fine art and crafts.The market features local, artisan cheeses, eggs, beef, chicken & pork, plus seasonal veggies and fresh baked goods. LIve music was on hand for everyone while they shopped away.
The RVCC Indoor Market held held each first Saturday of the month at RVCC during the winter months until the Nelson Farmer’s Market Coop cranks back up again next Spring.
