Join Kim & Jimbo in an interactive musical tribute to our immigrant ancestors from Ireland and around the world at the Hamner Theatre, Sunday, March 15 at 2:00 PM.
Selected as Touring Artists by the Virginia Commission for the Arts, the Carys bring a cornucopia of instruments, and invite their audience to play gourds, cowbells and other world percussion instruments.
Along with Irish jigs and reels, the Carys play East European freilachs and West African drum rhythms as well as their original compositions about animals and life in Nelson County.
