Back in April of last year we told you about Jennings Rice of Nellysford and her prominent co-starring role in the movie, Secret Life of the Pastor’s Wife. In this video interview, the native Nelsonian told us about her excitement of being cast in that movie.
Since then Jennings has been a busy actress appearing in national commercials, like Pizza Hut, that appeared during their huge 2024 Christmas campaign.
“I’ve been working! I’ve done a couple of commercials since then. Shot some more short films and more recently I’ve been writing,” Jennings told us Thursday afternoon.
Thursday night Jennings will star in the lead role on a Lifetime Movie Network picture called Trust Her If You Dare.
“I can’t say much… BUT Felicity is a girl always running from something or someone and when finally faced with a life or death situation she decides to fight back and prove herself once and for all. I am so unbelievably excited! Felicity was such a fun character, I can’t wait for people to see her. She is strong, independent but fragile underneath it all. She led a troubled life and now is finally being put to the test to prove that a person truly can change.”
Jennings said she landed the most reached starring role from plain hard work. “I got it the old fashioned way, I auditioned! I have built such a fun relationship with Lifetime so the second I got the audition I jumped to press record on my self tape! Lifetime always gives me such fun and complex female characters I absolutely love working with them.”
