…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST THIS
MORNING…

* WHAT…Freezing drizzle with an additional light glaze of ice,
mainly across the higher elevations above 1000 feet.

* WHERE…Augusta and Highland Counties, and the Central
Virginia Blue Ridge.

* WHEN…Through 10 AM EST this morning. The widespread
precipitation has ended, however areas of freezing drizzle
remain, mainly above 1000 feet.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Plan on slippery road conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

When venturing outside, watch your first few steps taken on
steps, sidewalks, and driveways, which could be icy and slippery,
increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
