Information via VSP:
At 8:14 p.m., Wednesday, Virginia State Police responded to a pedestrian crash in Nelson County at the intersection of Route 151 and Shady Lane. A male subject stopped at a stop sign near his residence. The male driver got out of his vehicle but the pickup truck was not all the way in “park.” The pickup truck struck the driver and rolled into a bush. The driver was flown to UVA Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.
