Back on November 4, 2015 we told you about the RV fire pictured above near the entrance to Wintergreen Resort.

What we wrote back then:

“There were a few tense moments Tuesday afternoon when an RV caught fire on Route 664 near the entrance to Wintergreen Resort. Wintergreen Fire & Rescue responded to the blaze and got it under control pretty quickly, but the whole mess snarled traffic going up and down the mountain until the scene was cleared. Wintergreen Fore & Rescue Chief Curtis Sheets said no one was hurt in the incident.”

Today Chief Sheets forwarded a letter the owners of the RV sent to him thanking WFD for their quick response and help.
