Step back in time with a visit to newly renovated Montpelier, home of the Father of the Constitution, James Madison.
Tour the Gilmore Farm, home of George Gilmore, born a slave at Montpelier, and take a fascinating tour of the 1863-64 Confederate Winter Encampment Site. Tour led by Montpelier Interpreter Jayne E. Blair, author of two books on the Civil War.
