8:20 AM EDT 6.19.07 Accident scene has been cleared and exit 99 is now open – traffic is flowing normally.

NCL has learned VA State Police and local fire crews are on the scene of a tractor trailer fire at the top of Afton Mountain at Exit 99. Fortunately, the tanker is only loaded with milk and is on the shoulder of the road. I-64 is open, but exit 99 eastbound side is closed and traffic cannot exit there.
