With some crisp cool weather settling in at night, you know high school football is back in action. Friday night the Nelson County High Governors were at home against the Page County Panthers. Sadly the losing streak Nelson had going last season wasn’t broken. The Panthers won 14-9.

Right now The Govs stand at 0-2 for the season.

Next week Nelson plays The Staunton Riverheads at home.
