Tough Mudder Virginia 2011 is in the history books! Tough Mudder-Team Nelson handled a final bit of business this past Saturday morning by presenting a $500.00 check to Wintergreen Adaptive Sports. WAS is a big supporter of Wounder Warriors which Tough Mudder national supports too.

Tough Mudder-Team Nelson was organized by NCL Publisher Yvette Stafford. During the months leading up to the October event, sponsors were secured for the team to outfit everyone with an orange team shirt. Additional shirts were sold to people outside of the team who wanted to show their support. Saturday morning that money from the sale of the shirts was presented to WAS for use in their program locally here at Wintergreen.
