October Means Apple Butter Makin’ In Nelson!

For over 3 decades people have made the trip to Flippin-Seaman in Tyro right off of Route 56 West heading toward Crabtree Falls and Montebello. This past weekend NCL’s Mountain Photographer, Paul Purpura made the jaunt out to Tyro to capture some of the shots at the 1st of two festivals there this month.

Thousands visits the two festivals each October for lots of fun activity for the entire family.
The Maury River Band played lots of bluegrass this past weekend at the Flippin-Seaman Apple Butter Making Festival in Tyro.
Kids visit with a close this past weekend at Flippin-Seaman. There was plenty more going on including, pick your own pumpkins, children's games, food Crafters, a corn maze and more!
Now this looks yummy!

If you didn’t get to make it to the first festival this past weekend, the next one is on October 15th from 10AM to 4:30PM.
