They keep improving over at Afton Mountain Vineyards, just two years after new owners Tony & Elizabeth Smith bought the operation in Afton. We first told you about the sale in this post back in March of 2009. The latest improvements involve putting a roof over their Pavilion just outside the tasting room. “It’s coming along well and is going to look so great! It will offer more shaded spaces for picnics during the day, and we will have glass and bottle sales out there on busy weekends. Previously used as a terrace with tent for private events, this will expand our public space and we won’t need tents for private events. We’re also adding three restrooms in a separate building,” said Elizabeth.
