Virginia Blood Services recently asked us to sponsor a blood drive. They are desperate for donations right now. So we’re doing it on Thursday, July 29. In order to get more attention and to provide other community services, we’ve added the SafeAssured ID program to the docket. I’ve got a complete press release if you like.
VBS will be in the Volvo showroom 2-7pm on Thursday, July 29. Arch’s is donating frozen yogurt for everyone participating! In addition, members of the SafeAssured ID program will be on site 3-5pm to do fingerprinting and Child ID kits. This is an important service to help keep kids in our community safe. And we will be demonstrating Volvo’s City Safety system to anyone interested throughout the day.
We are calling this our Safe + Secure Community Day. If you or anyone you know is interested in donating blood or in having ID kits made for their kids, have them contact me.
