We continue our look and listen to local Nelson music artists. Ironically from Arrington and the Colleen area again this week is, John White. As you know we feature all kinds of music artists and John is a pro at the piano, traveling all over the country. This past December he sold his 40,000th CD! Way to go! You’ll be hearing selections from John’s latest CD, At My Leisure, released last year. Many of you know John from his days as a teacher right here in Nelson County, Virginia. You can read more about John below today’s weather cast.
The nasty icy weather last week all seems like a bad memory now. Did you feel how warm it was Sunday? That was a nice break from the cold weather we had back in January. Don’t be looking for any kind of freezing cold weather for the next several days, as a matter of fact we are talking 70’s, yep 70’s by Tuesday! Sunday even made it to the middle 60’s in the valley with low and mid 50’s on the mountains.
Monday there’s a chance of scattered showers in the morning then we’ll see some sun throughout the day. By very late in the day toward dark, skies cloud back up again with showers forming overnight.
Warm temps, windy conditions, and rain move in by Tuesday in advance of another front. We may have some moderate to heavy rain with this system. I don’t see any wintry precipitation on the horizon over the next several days. No real cold weather is out there either.
