Hard to believe, but in just a little over a month, it will be time for the annual Lovingston Christmas parade. This year’s Nelson County Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade is scheduled for Sunday, December 6, 2009 at 3:00 PM.
The 2009 parade theme is “A Beary Special Christmas.”
There will be street vendors with food and beverages.
Ribbons will be awarded in the following categories:
Best Theme Float
Most Entertaining Float
Best Formation Marching Unit
Most Entertaining Marching Unit
Best of Show Horse & Rider
Best of Show Classic Antique Vehicle (1980 and older)
Best of Show Modified Antique Vehicle (1980 and older)
Best of Show Fire Unit
Best of Show Rescue Unit
Judges Choice Award
