Nelson County, Virginia
The 2009 hurricane season has been a quiet one thus far and it looks to stay that way in the immediate future. However, A North Atlantic Storm named Danny, (a tropical storm as of late Wednesday night) may affect Nelson County by the weekend. The track and strength of Danny is very unpredictable right now, but current thinking is he will skirt close enough to the Virginia coast line to perhaps increase our chances for rain on Saturday.
Over the past 24 hours Danny has not been extremely well organized, but does warrant watching as we approach the weekend.
