As we first reported last weekend on August 8th, lawmen are looking for a male suspect they say tried to rob the postal clerk at the Piney River Post Office – Saturday morning. Today, Nelson County, Virginia Sheriff David Brooks in conjunction with The United Stated Postal Inspection Service offered a reward in the amount up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible in the robbery. ” We will be putting the posters up in locations around the county and are encouraging anyone with information about this crime to call us,” Sheriff Brooks says.
