One of the annual highlights that kicks off the Summer season is Wintergreen Winery’s Wine Into Summer The two day long event begins Saturday at 10AM. Virginia’s very own Jan Smith and The Honeybirds are onstage from 12 noon until 6 PM. Sunday the celebration continues with the folk/rock/country of HoboJac followed by the foot stomping bluegrass of The Mississippi Leg Hound
The Devils Backbone Challenge gets underway Saturday morning as well.
Want to go a little higher? Wintergreen Resort is rolling out a long list events this weekend highlighted by their Blues & Brews with singer Jonell Mosser on both Saturday & Sunday.
Back down in The Rockfish Valley, The Ruritan Yard Sale & BBQ gets underway at 8AM Saturday and runs until folks run out! We’ve had their BBQ chickens before folks and they are great!!
In addition, both the Schuyler Community Farmers’ Market and The Nelson Farmers’ Market Coop in Nellysford get underway on Saturday morning beginning at 8:30 AM.
