Original Post from earlier today
Law and rescue authorities are setting up this hour at Nelson Middle School in Lovingston, Virginia due to a bomb threat. “The threat was called in a short time ago,” says Nelson County Sheriff David Brooks. The sheriff said a precautionary evacuation is underway while authorities check into the situation.

This is the second such threat in less than two years. In the file photo above, students were evacuated in September 2007 for a similar incident.

State Police units with a bomb sniffing dog is believed to be en route to the school.

NCL will update as we have more information.
