Nelson Sheriff David Brooks, says finding Mrs. Page’s stolen 1998 dark green Chevy Malibu is of the highest priority this morning. “It’s our belief the car was taken after the murder was committed,” Sheriff Brooks told NCL Thursday morning. The license number is: Virginia : YZR 1900 “If the weather breaks we will begin an aerial search for the car as soon as possible to see if it was abandoned anywhere nearby,” Sheriff Brooks continued.
Sheriff Brooks is urging residents in the area to use common sense and keep doors locked. He is also asking people to report any suspicious looking activity immediately as any lead could be important in the investigation.
