In the past few weeks Nelson’s microbreweries have been noticed in an international magazine called Food & Beverage Business. Writer, Geoff Burpee from Canada was in Nelson late last year researching the story appearing in the March issue. “They have offices in Milan and Rome, they also have operations in New York, London, Paris, Madrid and Frankfurt,” says Geoff.
The story’s layout and photography center mainly around Nelson’s newest brewery, Devils Backbone, but also devotes a half page of the nice color spread to Blue Mountain Brewery in Afton. Nelson’s first microbrewery that opened back in late 2007.
