BALLROOM DANCING
OCTOBER
Mondays, October 8, 15, and 22 offer East Coast Swing lessons (7:15 – 8:00 at the Nelson Center in Lovingston). East Coast Swing is a fast dance related to the 1950’s jitterbug! It is a great dance for all those oldies songs, big band tunes and contemporary music too! We will cover the basic step, new patterns, and styling to make you look great on the dance floor. Practice your skills at our Costume Practice Party on October 29 (7:30 – 9:30). Light refreshments included.

NOVEMBER
Mondays, November 5, 12, and 19 we will learn the Fox Trot (7:15 – 8:00 at the Nelson Center in Lovingston). Christmas is right around the corner! Show off your Fox Trot skills at your next Holiday party. Fox Trot is a smooth dance that can be danced to lots of different music. Don’t forget to come to the practice party on November 26 (7:30 – 9:30). Light refreshments included.

JUST WANT TO PRACTICE?
Can’t make it to the lessons? Had lessons in the past? Already know how to ballroom dance? You’re invited to our practice dances held on the last Monday in October and November. All practice dances are 7:30 -9:30 at the Nelson Center in Lovingston and include light refreshments. Our October dance will be a Costume party! We may even have a Dress-up (semi-formal) Holiday dance in December. Information regarding a December dance will be forthcoming.
