Hints of Fall
Nelson County, Virginia
We certainly need rain, but the sunny weather we’ve been having all week thus far is spectacular! Though we are still hitting the 90’s each afternoon, you can certainly subtle signs of Fall. Judy Serkes sent us the picture above as she was out recently on her morning stroll.
“Took these in the AM during my morning coffee stroll in Woods Mill……Fall is definitely on its way….
Judy”
We agree Judy! It’s hard to think we will be talking about frost in just a few short weeks, but it’s just around the corner.
Look for the sunny skies and warm temps to continue today right into the weekend. There’s a an area of disturbed weather out in the Atlantic right now that may strengthen & give us a decent shot at some rain by late in the weekend and the first of next week. There’s lots of speculation on which track the low could take right now. You can see the different models by clicking here. Some have it coming partially into Virginia, others skirting us but with very little effect. Essentially it’s too soon to tell, but we’ll have a better idea by Friday afternoon and evening as the low develops more.
