Central Virginia Blue Ridge

As we’ve been posting for the last two to three days, winter weather is on the way for just about all of Virginia. In advance of the storm, which is expected to have a significant impact across the state, crews have been pre-treating roads and prepping for snow removal when needed.
There are also planned closures of the Blue Ridge Parkway as well, here’s a link to their page that has the latest closures and at what milepost.
As shown in the graphic above, wintry precipitation will begin in Central Virginia in the evening and overnight hours Sunday, and continuing into Monday.
