It’s not completely unheard of for frost to fall around this time in September, but it’s not the average time that we generally see one happen. Closer into October is when we start seeing a frost in these parts.

But, that’s exactly what happened Sunday morning. A light to moderate frost fell in some parts of the Blue Ridge on both the east and west sides.
