Central Virginia Blue Ridge

Heavy flooding rains have been pounding most of the area all morning long and that’s expected to continue into the night as whats left of Hurricane Florence slowly beings pulling away to the northeast over the next day or so.

Numerous trees have been falling down due to the saturated ground and some roads have been flooded out as well.

There’s flooding all over several counties, and road closures are too numerous to mention, but be sure to check with DOT websites before heading out if you plan to travel.
