Via WPOA : “The Forest Fire in Sherando is under control. Forest Service personnel will remain on scene to monitor any hot-spots.”

5:17 PM – 3.31.18

Via WPOA : There is a forest fire near Sherando. Wintergreen, Augusta County, and U S Forest Service crews are working to extinguish. Expect to see smoke, as well as helicopters working in the area. No further action is required at this time.
