Friends of Wintergreen, one of many groups strongly opposing the Atlantic Coast Pipeline (ACP), revealed late Tuesday night that the ACP has filed their first eminent domain suit against the owners of The Fenton Inn. The relatively new B & B is just beyond the Wintergreen Resort gatehouse on the left as you head up Route 664 to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

News of the eminent domain lawsuit comes a day after the Nelson Board of Zoning Appeals unanimously dismissed the ACP’s request for floodplain variances on seven properties.
