Veterans and members of the community alike sat inside the frigid Saunders Brothers Farm Market barn to pay tribute to those who have fought and fallen for our country. Many scarves, jackets and blankets were removed and placed upon our present veterans to warm their hands and hearts. Memories were shared, stories were told, history was acknowledged.

At 11 o’clock on the dot Paul Saunders lead the group in song to sing God Bless America. This is a tradition and intentional timing due to Veterans Day falling on the 11th month and the 11th day, and on the 11th hour our soldiers got their first glimpse of hope that the war was finally over.
