Nelson: Indoor Market Season Begins AT RVCC

ncm2 — Thanks to Barry & Midge Shawley for the photos : The 9th Annual Indoor Market kicked off this past weekend on November 7, 2015 at the Rockfish Valley Community Center. The market runs into April of next year over the winter months when the outdoor markets are closed.

As the cold months start settling in, you know it’s time for the indoor markets to start kicking off! The Nelson Inddor Market at the Rockfish Valley Community Center started this past Saturday and runs until March 5, 2016.

The local Nelson Farmers Market in Nellysford, just down the road, has a couple more Saturdays before it shuts down for the season. The final market there for 2015 is on November 21st. (The two markets are not related)

In addition to locally raised produce (when available) and meats at the indoor winter market, many crafts are available as well.

The markets run 9:00am-noon on the first Saturday of the month and each market coincides with RVCC’s Pancake Breakfast and the Treasure Chest Bag Day.
Each Market also features entertainment by our finest local musicians!
