Central Virginia Blue Ridge
After nearly two weeks of cloudy skies and over 10 inches of rain in the past week, the sunshine will finally make a return. That brings the total to over 18 inches of rain in the past 30 days at our BRL-Nature Foundation At Wintergreen up at 3500 feet, and just under 12 inches at our valley station BRL-Trager Brothers 2.0 at RVCC just north of Nellysford, VA.
The area was under Flash Flood Watches for most of the weekend, along with Wind Advisories for many counties. The Blue Ridge Parkway was closed over the weekend due to debris from high winds scattered along the roadway.
Things begin to improve on Monday and then really get good on Tuesday!
