…Freezing Rain Advisory remains in effect until 11 am EST this
morning…

* precipitation type…freezing rain.

* Accumulations…up to a tenth of an inch of ice.

* Timing…pockets of freezing rain will continue through this
morning…eventually becoming all rain by late morning.

* Temperatures…in the lower 30s.

* Winds…south 5 to 10 mph.

* Impacts…a thin glaze of ice is possible on untreated roads…
sidewalks…and vehicles. Due to the recent cold waves… some
surfaces may be icy even with an air temperature slightly above
freezing. Typically shaded areas… as well as bridges… will
be most susceptible to icing.

Precautionary/preparedness actions…

A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or
freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.
