Band members that make up Chamomile and Whiskey are all smiles about the upcoming Festy in just a few weeks on the grounds at Devils Backbone Brewing Company. The group has a long history deep rooted along the path they now travel.
Nelson natives and life-long musicians, Koda Kerl (lead vocals and guitar) and Marie Borgman (fiddle) are responsible for the serendipitous series of events that lead to this bands culmination.
“Marie and I had been traveling just the two of us all across the country, playing a bunch of shows and road-tripping, getting to know how we like to play together. One of the things we found was that the rowdy stuff that we would like to play got the best response, that’s when we started thinking about a full band,” explains Koda.
