Wintergreen
Nelson County, VA

As the colder air moved in Sunday, rain turned to snow in the mountains along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our BRL Mountain Photographer Paul Purpura wok up to about 2-3 inches of new snow at Wintergreen with snow still coming down shortly after 8AM.

More light snow can be expected in the mountains and rain possibly mixed with snow in the lower elevations. But what a change Monday will bring. Back to Spring!
