Devils Backbone donated the hops for the church’s unique brewing project featured on the cover of our current August 2013 issue of Blue Ridge Life Magazine.

The congregation of Grace Episcopal Church in Massies Mill got a huge surprise this past Monday. They were invited to the hop garden at Devils Backbone Brewing Company in Roseland to pick some of the very same hops used in varieties of DB beer.


Above our August 2013 story on the unique undertaking Grace Episcopal has take on brewing their own batch of beer at the church as they study
time periods over the ages where it was done. Click above on cover to read.
