For 20 years people have been coming to Waltons Mountain Museum to remember folks from the television series The Waltons. That show is based on the childhood experiences of Earl Hamner who was born and raised in the East Nelson County, VA community. We told you about the 40th anniversary of the show in Los Angeles in this recent post. This past weekend on October 20, 2012 the museum celebrated 2 decades of having a memorial to the show.
