Batteau Festival Heads Toward Finish This Weekend At Maiden’s Landing

For years we’ve told you about the annual James River Batteau Festival.

It’s going on right now with the participants finishing up on June 23rd at Maiden’s Landing.

Batteau Festival - 0010 — A lone batteau quietly sits in the water near the Wingina landing at the end of the day.

Batteau Festival - 0062 — Several folks in the 2012 Batteau Festival head in for the evening near Wingina Landing in East Nelson County, VA.
